Chloe went Pee Pee in the Potty!!!

Nana got Chloe all her potty accessories this Christmas. And, I started potty training her around 13 months....for about 2 days! She, or rather we, had one obstacle after the other (a awful diaper rash that lasted 3 weeks, a week trip to Bermuda, me starting working overnight shifts and so on) and so the potty training was seriously delayed. I know she is very young, but she is also very smart and doesn't pee during the night or naps so I thought I was give it a go early. No pressure. So, the potty has been in the bathroom for 3 months now. And every time I go pee, Chloe comes in, sits (clothed) on the potty, gets a magazine and waits for me to be done. That alone is oh so adorable. This weekend I decided that when we got back from Ohio we were going to get back on the potty training bandwagon. I even armed myself with the cutest doll with diapers as a reward.

Day One: SUCCESS!!

Chloe is 16 Months Old!!

Sweet Sixteen...months!! So exciting!

Chloe now has a plethora of skills! She walks, runs, jumps, climbs, sings, dances, points, claps, kisses, hugs, blows kisses, colors and is starting to talk more and more. We have a little list of words - they are not always perfect...but, she is surely getting there. She is also learning different parts of her body - her nose, eyes, ears, mouth, toe-toes and belly.

We went to Ohio this weekend for cousin Claire's 1st birthday. It was a huge success. Claire was so happy with her balloons and cake - the rest of it was neither here nor there it seemed. She is a very happy and social baby. A pure joy to be around. The girls interacted wonderfully. They are not at that age (yet) where they are fighting over things all the time. I know Chloe enjoyed having another little someone to play with for a few days. And to be the 'big girl' around. It was really a great visit with the whole Kell family all around.

We took the girls for some pictures. Too cute for words.
