So, we just got back from a week and a bit long vacation to Bermuda to see Nana and some family and friends. We had a bit of a rough start with Chloe being sick for 5 days, Brad for a few days and most detrimental - realizing that Brad's passport had expired a month ago!! After packing, fixing the passport problem and doing some rearranging, we were on our way!
We had a really great time, except for the weather.....again! It was overcast and rainy off and on, mostly on. But, we still managed to get out and do tourist-y things. Next year we will try July as June or May hasn't worked out for us.Other than that, it is business as usual in the Kell household. We had a great Memorial Day at the pool with Auntie Connie. I have taken Chloe to the pool like 6 times already and it just opened that weekend.
Chloe is getting bigger, smarter and cuter all the time. She is learning so much it is amazing. She still only talks just a little bit...but, we are getting there. She has a pretty wild imagination which is a blessing and adorable. We may be enrolling her in some 'gym' classes in July. We went to a free trial and she loved it. She needs the socialization, instruction and the energy burning hour!!
Brad and I met at Ohio University in the fall of 1998, our freshman year of college. After university ended, Brad went home to Mansfield for a few short weeks and then ended up here in Virginia. I went home to Bermuda for a few months and eventually followed suit and moved to Virginia to be with Brad in February of 2003.
Brad proposed on Valentines Day 2004 and we were married June 11, 2005 in Bermuda. Our family and friends were all there to share in our special day and it truly was a spectacular wedding and trip.
We purchased our condo in December 2005. It's only a one bedroom, so the baby will be sharing a room with Mommy and Daddy, but we don't mind!
So, here we are, over 10 years after our first encounter with each other, preparing to have our first baby! Happy Anniversary to us!!
We are both very excited and nervous regarding the arrival of our precious little girl. We cannot wait to meet her and she could be making her debut any day now.
